Hi, I’m Alex

I'm a qualified Nutritional Therapist based in Leamington Spa in the UK.

During our consultation I will create a nurturing space where you feel heard, understood, and valued. By actively listening to your aspirations and needs, I build a plan that includes personalised nutrition advice, delicious recipes, and wellness strategies to support your health journey.

I firmly believe that no health goal is out of reach, and I'm committed to empowering you with the knowledge and confidence you need to achieve optimal well-being.

    The digestive system communicates with the entire body (and mind!) so in order to have flourishing health the gut needs to be supported first. That’s why tips and tricks for better gut health are always at the heart of my nutrition plans.

    Healing my own gut and hormone issues through diet + lifestyle changes, has given me a unique understanding of the importance of achievable goals. I focus on recommendations that can easily be added into your daily routine, so that looking after your wellbeing is as easy as possible.

    I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) after 3 years of full time evidenced-based study. CNM is recognised by the professional bodies ANP and BANT who are widely respected in the industry.

  • 5. Food you actually want to eat

    I’m passionate about making cooking easy and providing you with food ideas that get you excited about your meals! I create recipes that are focused on being quick (30 min or less), optimising nutrient value and delivering lots of flavour.

Pricing + what’s included

  • You will be sent a health questionnaire and food diary assessment to complete which will form the basis of our appointment.

  • 60 minutes online (video chat) to discuss your goals and needs in more detail.

    We’ll cover areas such as your symptoms, work/life balance, stress levels, medications and anything else related to your wellbeing.

  • This will include:

    • a roadmap of the root cause of your health issues

    • nutrition education to give you confidence
 in your health journey

    • tailored list of what foods to eat and why

    • stress management and lifestyle tools to support your goals holistically

    • tips and techniques to reach your health goals 


  • As part of your plan, I will advise which specific supplements, brands and dosages of nutrients you need for optimum wellness.

  • In addition to your Nutrition & Lifestyle Plan you will receive a personalised Recipe Booklet that includes quick and easy to follow meals that are full of delicious ingredients you need for better health.

  • Part of your plan will also include GP and functional testing recommendations to further support your health journey such as blood tests and urine/stool samples.

  • 30 minutes online (video chat) to review your progress since our last appointment, address any questions you may have, discuss new or existing symptoms and re-adjust your health goals.

  • This will include:

    • further nutrition education to give you confidence
 in your health journey

    • new tailored list of what foods to eat and why

    • updated stress management and lifestyle tools to support your goals holistically

    • more tips and techniques to reach your health goals 


  • Updated supplement guidance including brands and personalised dosages of nutrients.

  • During our consultation we can discuss any tests results. I will interpret these and provide recommendations based on optimal nutritional values to ensure you are the healthiest you can be.

Frequently asked questions…

  • Please visit my booking page www.strengthandsalad.setmore.com/strengthandsalad. If you have not seen me before please book an initial consultation. If you have seen me within the last 3 months please select ‘follow up’ appointment.

  • Once you have booked an appointment you will be sent a Health Assessment Form and 3-Day Food Diary to complete and return to me at least 48 hours before your appointment.

  • How often we have consultations will be entirely up to you, your availability and your budget. You may also want more or fewer appointments based on your health goals. In my experience I have found that a follow up appointment every 4-6 weeks is a good amount of time to allow for consistent, positive changes.

  • If the personalised plan is followed closely changes can usually be seen within a few weeks. Larger and more sustained changes may take longer but in my experience clients usually see notable changes within 2-3 months.

  • Click on the ‘change/cancel my appointment’ link in your confirmation email.

  • I offer 15 minute mini consultations for £15 if you have an urgent question or concern that you’d like to discuss between appointments. We can use this time to discuss your query in detail and I will give guidance or advice so that your mind is put at rest. To arrange a mini consultation please email me.

    Alternatively, if you have a query about your plan you can email me. Note: due to my working pattern it may take up to 7 days to get back to you.

  • If an appointment is cancelled with more than 24 hours-notice a 100% refund will be given.

    If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours-notice a 50% fee will be incurred.

    If an appointment is not attended you will be charged in full.

  • Payment for recommended supplements and health foods is an addition on top of the consultation fee, therefore I will always follow your lead and will adapt your plan based on your available budget and will never make you feel stretched or as though the plan is unachievable.

  • I’m passionate about recipes and meal plans that feel indulgent, delicious and that you actually want to eat! I’ll never enforce a way of eating that you’re not happy with. We will work together to understand your likes and dislikes so that you have a nutrition plan you feel happy with.
